The Klaas-Jan Huntelaar jersey malfunction was a big embarrassment to Europe football powerhouse Netherlands in stunning 3-2 loss in friendly game against Mexico on Wednesday at Amsterdam. Huntelaar jersey just basically fell of apart including the numbers.

It was bittersweet win for the El Tri, which lost to Netherlands 2-1 in the just concluded 2014 World Cup Round of 16, with Wesley Sneijder and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar both scoring late to overturn a 0-1 deficit and the famous Arjen Robben dive that help Holland knock Mexico out.

But Holland’s jersey embarrassment added to Huntelaar off night as he missed a wide open goal from about a yard in the first half that would have sent the game to overtime.
