Chris Algieri might have to consider changing a trainer after Tim Lane game plan debacle on his biggest fight of his career against Manny Pacquiao. Instead letting Algieri know the real situation on the ring, Lane seems so detached of the action in telling the Chris he was “doing beautiful” and that they were “where we want to be” when the fact Pacquiao dominated the fight.
Tim Lane got some harsh comments from social media who noticed it including ESPN’s Dan Rafael:

Tim Lane game plan hits crescendo when HBO Max Kellarman approached him in the ringside about the game plan of letting Algieri let out of the cage. Well, Lane obviously held Algieri on long enough in round 10 or 11, before letting him go as Algieri was hit by Pacquiao with a devastating straight left that floored the American. With that said, Lane boxing trainer stock has just dropped.
