Two backup quarterbacks was able to start on Sunday namely Washington Redskins Colt McCoy and Cleveland Browns Johnny Manziel. The good news is both made an immediate impact by scoring a touchdown but the bad news is their team doesn’t win.
After replacing Robert Griffin at the gun, Colt McCoy made an impact early including a spectacular play where McCoy eludes 3 defenders and hit Logan Paulsen for a 16-yard touchdown to cut the Indianapolis Colts lead to 21-17. But the Colts Andrew Luck offense are too much in the second half as the Redskins lose 49-27.

Meanwhile, Johnny ‘Football’ Manziel scores his first career NFL touchdown after he replaces Brian Hoyer in the fought quarter against Buffalo Bills. Manziel rushed to the middle for 10 yard gain touchdown to give fans breath of fresh airs but as the Browns fell 26-10. The Browns are still in the thick of the playoff race while the Redskins are out.
