World Cup international friendly matchup of France vs Germany was rocked with huge explosion that can be heard in the background on Friday at the Stade de France in Paris. The game continued as the host France eased past rivals Germany 2-0 on courtesy of goals from Olivier Giroud and Andre-Pierre Gignac.
It was reported earlier that German national team evacuate Paris hotel after anonymous bomb threat as reported by IBTimes. German team had been staying at the Molitor Hotel before they were forced to leave just before lunchtime on Friday. “There was a bomb threat,” team spokesman Bierhoff told German publication Express. “The hotel has been cordoned off and evacuated.”
Unfortunately the bomb threat was not strongly taken into consideration.
At least 34 people have been killed in multiple attacks across the French capital with grenade bombing and assualt rifle.
