Kobe needed nine points to pass Michael Jordan in 3rd all time scoring list and he did it against Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night. Bryant sank two free throws at the 5:24 mark in the second quarter to put his total to 32,293 points.

Kobe go on and finished with 26 points in 100-94 win over the Timberwolves. He shoots 7-of-20 along with six rebound and two assists. Bryant, 36, has one more season in his contract with the Lakers has his sight to pass Karl Malone (36,928 points) in all time second NBA scorer.
The game was stopped briefly to honor Kobe by giving him the ball and congratulated by his teammates and coaches including the opposing team.
